Let’s take an honest look at what passes for “prosperity” today. Is it prosperity when privileged VW managers can buy women and write their sex parties off as a business expense? Is it prosperity when we jet off on ski holidays while the glaciers melt and whole ecosystems collapse?
Is it prosperity when 95% of our precious urban space is blocked by parked tin boxes? Or when the sugar industry, hand in hand with advertising, gets our children hooked until every food on the shelf is pumped full of sugar that makes us sick? If this is the prosperity we are supposed to defend, then the definition is broken at the root.
