Today is a very important day for my 1000 Thoughts project, because this is the first entry I am creating directly with Gemini 4 Argon as my sparring partner and sending straight to my new Cloudflare account – no detours.
I have freed myself from the restrictions of Webflow – the technical ones, but also the organisational limitations and hurdles. I installed the Linux version of Google’s Antigravity on my Chromebook, and together with Gemini 4 Argon I completely redesigned my website and massively improved its visibility and SEO parameters.
That included clean URLs and precise titles, but above all a file structure that allows Google to index all content properly and to show it in AI results in a way that is visible, easy to read and easy to understand. Visibility has now increased by around 80%. On top of that, Cloudflare naturally has much faster response times – it reacts roughly ten times faster than the pages would have loaded via Webflow.
Add to that the fact that this setup saves me the rising Webflow fees as well as Varti’s coding services. This means Varti Studio can now focus on what they do really well and what they originally offered as a service: pure design for humans. Meanwhile, Antigravity writes clean code in Python 3, JavaScript and HTML at the highest level, finds every bug and keeps optimising. This is where the machine – the software, the AI – is unbeatable, far better than human programmers.
I have worked wonderfully with Gemini as a team, and by now I also understand how Antigravity works, how the components interact with Cloudflare and how Python syntax is structured – because Gemini documents every step and explains it in human language. That does not happen in a traditional setup.
Now I am in a situation where I get to look over the programming team’s shoulder and see what they are doing. On top of that, they explain every single step to me; I can ask questions at any time and set the pace – my learning pace, my learning curve. I have full control over the result, because I see in real time which changes, improvements and extensions we have made. This is historic. I would never have dreamed of it.
In 1995/96 I started learning the basics with SelfHTML and built my first simple HTML pages myself. I quickly realised back then that things were getting more and more complex and that I did not have the resources to write the websites myself. So I always hired programmers. The first programmer I found, in 1998, was Matthias Hanns – at the time one of the leading IT specialists in Leipzig, who accompanied me for several years. Many years ago he told me that he was programming systems that write software themselves. Back then that was very abstract to me. Above all, I could not imagine that I would one day be in a position where I myself had full control over the development of my site.
It feels like liberation. It feels like empowerment – because I have much more control and am no longer dependent on a team I can hardly manage.
Tomorrow my father would have turned 94. Today the clocks went back to winter time, and today I also achieved a major success: I depend on the indexability and visibility of my content, because I will not invest a single cent in commercial advertising. My approach is to create 100% organic content that is found by people searching for the things that are truly on their minds – when they take off the mask, cannot sleep at night, get up and ask their questions in Gemini, ChatGPT, Antigravity, Claude or wherever else, and find answers. Among other places, in my content.
Three questions to keep thinking. Choose an answer – you will then get an explanation and a prompt for self-reflection.
What do you take away from this thought?
Thank you. Every answer fits – take it with you into your day. Would you like to share something yourself?
