Thought #418: Human-AI Tandem Instead of Devaluation: Why Our Thoughts Are Our True Capital

If corporate editorial rooms are shrinking and four-week AI courses are an illusion—what does a constructive alternative look like in the spirit of my Ruhi assignment ("the bread of the spirit")?

We see it in two building blocks: First, in grassroots projects like the Leipzig women’s workshop (AGH), where women work in a state of flow weaving baskets for local daycares—resilient, local, and full of the human empathy no AI will ever possess. Second, in how we claim technology for ourselves.

At UNO.TEAM, our Human-AI Coaching (built on over 400 entries and 800 pages of the 1000 Thoughts project) bridges the gap between elite AI insiders and people left behind by tech. Combining human mentoring with AI as a sparring partner, participants learn to voice their thoughts freely, structure them, and express them in their own authentic voice. Instead of being automated away, we turn our own thoughts into the most valuable raw material for genuine community.

What we’re unfortunately seeing is that people are increasingly being devalued because new technologies are being applied according to the wrong principles. It’s not technology that is responsible for the classism we have, and for the growing insecurity, for things drifting apart, and partly also for the hatred, the misunderstandings and the conflicts. All of that is real—but these are not the effects of technology per se; they come from technology being applied the wrong way.

Over the last 48 hours, I’ve been working with a combination of the Linux terminal on my Chromebook, Claude Code—a programming agent or coding agent, if you like, which has a similar functionality to Google’s Antigravity, but a far bigger token budget, roughly 20 to 25 times Google’s budget—and, in combination with that, Gemini 4 Argon. These tools are now my team. And of course they replace a large number of human team members, and so they make it possible for me to get a flow process going, which in turn allows me to create momentum.

Because when people want to achieve and create something extraordinary—something that is bigger than themselves and that will also outlast them—it takes several things as a precondition. And one of these elements that have to be in place is momentum. Momentum can only arise when all the parts of the whole system are aligned with each other and a certain speed is reached. I like to compare it with physics, with the conversion of potential energy into kinetic energy: if you want to move an object, it takes much more energy at the start than it does to keep that object going once it’s already in motion. And it’s exactly the same with a project like UNO.TEAM: to get the website started and then keep developing it, I have to reach momentum.

And I’ve now reached it with this setup, with this American AI environment. And this is exactly what we should show people—because what I can do, many other people can do too. I’m not a high-flyer, I’m not a specialist. I just have normal, probably average skills in reading comprehension, critical thinking, mathematical understanding and logical understanding—all of that is only average in my case. And that’s exactly why I need these tools I’ve just listed.

We’re now living in a time in which these tools, this AI environment, this setup will already keep improving within the next few months. Unlike 30 years ago, this development will now happen in months and not in years. And all these things are positive if we implement them correctly and appropriately. And there, too, UNO.TEAM is on board: Humanity at its best!
