Thought #358: What comes after neoliberalism: impact economy and sociocracy

Published on

A September 2026 FAZ article misinterprets the economic downturn as a temporary dip, ignoring the structural end of neoliberalism and cheap oil. As David Graeber highlighted in Bullshit Jobs, more people reject the destructive economic machine to pursue self-employment. Yet Germany's outdated infrastructure remains catered to traditional corporations, stifling capital-free startups under heavy bureaucracy. Courageous initiatives like Cristina Lopez and Laura Botin's Anti Hustle Club pave new paths, but desperately need grassroots backing through networks like Startnext, UNO.TEAM, and the  Economy.
