While LinkedIn's "Open to Work" badge generates superficial solidarity for unemployed managers, it ultimately props up a failing economic model. Begging for the next position within a toxic corporate framework treats symptoms while ignoring the underlying structural breakdown. Genuine transformation won't come from artificially prolonging obsolete work structures, but from a critical mass of people stepping away from exploitation and demanding autonomy. Only when we reach the tipping point for building true alternatives can we force real societal renewal.
