Scrolling through LinkedIn, profiles are flooded with titles like "Employer Branding and Marketing Manager". Historically, "branding" comes from searing ownership marks onto livestock with hot irons. Applying this exact same logic of "brands" and "markets" to human beings today is completely outdated. We don't need artificially polished "employers"—we need an Economy for the Common Good that stops treating people like commodities.
